Question: Are the needles reusable if sterilized with rubbing alcohol?

Answer:The tip needs to be clean to work. When the tip touched the mole, it would burn the mole and the tip would get residue on it. Immediately wipe the residue off and make sure the tip was clean when done. Doing this allowed to keep using the first needle.

Question: Would this work on freckles or moles that are slightly under some skin?

Answer:Yes it would it burns the skin by layers so it would eventually get to the mole or freckle.

    With age comes these annoying little things call skin tags... Worked great for them. I used the small needle, took several zaps but it singed them off. It's a slight sting but not awful pain. I had skin numbing gel ready. But I didn't use it. But note, it was be sore for few hours afterwards.

    Love this!!! The best tool for the price!! I did a professional treatment for $250, and looked horrible for 10 days. You can use this tool at a lower settings and you will heal faster, with little down time. It may just take 2-3 more treatments then the professional. Or go to the highest setting for the same as professional treatment. Which is fine for the cost. I never leave reviews. Love this product!!!!

    Had several small skin tags around my eyes, face and neck. I used this product about a week ago. And now they are gone. I thought I would have to have them removed at a doctors office but now theres no need. Needless to say one needs to be extremely careful using the fine needles in delicate areas. The product does cause a sting as it is burning the mole or skin tag away. There were a few involuntary movements or reactions to this sensation while doing my eye area. I used my other hand to block my working hand from losing control during these moments. Requires a super steady hand for tiny areas. Only use if you feel confident you will be good with this.

    This version appears to be a redesigned version of an older model that I purchased a few years back.The original is still functional, but documentation was very poorly translated (to English) to the point of being fairly funny. It had basic setting controls and a highlighting backlight that was set opposite the functional 'zapper' side.This new version has a very well thought out design, slimmer, LED settings now, clean packaging. The light is inline with the zapper now as well.Great job to the company that either bought the mfg. rights or just did a great job re-designing. As a former mechanical engineer, I appreciate that the goal is to create better and better product iterations. The pride shows with this update.

    It Hurts but it works. Lightly Use on blemish, clean spot, treat with ointment, let heal, and be amazed. I used on many broken blood vessels and red spots on my pasty white skin and it’s reduced or removed them completely. Even on my lips and under my eyes but be very careful working on face. Use on lowest setting and do less. Come back after a week and try again if it’s not gone. Don’t rush it.

    This really works. I have so many small moles appear out of nowhere and wanted to get rid of them so bad but didn't want to go out and spend money for the pro to do it. Took a chance on this since it's only $30 and it really works. I went deeper than needed to so took longer to heal, make sure you don't go too deep. Once the scab fall off, the mole will be gone too, unless it's deep. I did not use numbing cream and the sting was tolerable.

I held the button and tapped the tip of the needle against the surface of the mole. There's a spark upon contact. It burns and smells like burnt hair. :(I kept at it, that is tapping the mole with the needled pen over and over. Blood did begin to pool over the burned area thus making it difficult to keep burning. At that point I stopped and let the blood coagulate. That was pretty much my first burning session. I didn't mess with the mole for about a week or two... can't remember exactly. I tried to let it heal so as not to scar the area. I also applied Neosporin to keep the area moist. I can't remember why I did this but I think I read it or heard it on YouTube.After a few weeks the scab fell off on its own only to expose the still existing. It was smaller in diameter and not as raised. I then proceeded with my second burn session and then let it scab once the bleeding was too much.It took three burn sessions total for the mole to be completely gone.I'd post a picture but I don't anyone to say, "Hey, I recognize that guy."My advice though, look into the type of moles you have and make sure they are not cancerous moles. It may be that you need a health professional to test whatever mole you remove is not cancerous. I had my moles since I can remember so I was more comfortable removing them myself. I also made sure they didn't bear the visible signs of a cancerous mole. Can't say it's sound advice, but if you are adamant on doing this just yourself just make sure you are aware of the risks involved.Lastly, the mole on my temple is not fully gone. This was the larger of the two moles. I had two burn sessions with this one. To my disappointment, this mole was a lot deeper. I've been lazy to undergo another burn session with this one, but I'll get around to it. It's almost gone, though. :D

    This mole remover works great! I was hesitant to use this at first because I didn’t know if it would hurt. I used a bit of numbing cream before trying this device and I barely felt a small sting. I don’t think I would recommend using this without some type of numbing cream however. I used this on to skin tags and both dried up and fell off in a matter of days.

    This thing has been such a self esteem booster! I suffer from lots of bumps on my face and nose, mostly benign moles. Went to the doctor and they wanted a ton of $ just to remove a few, and warned of scars. Well I saw this and decided for $30 what the heck. Now I am thrilled! The largest bump that bothered me so bad and bled often because of its location on my eyebrow IS GONE! Years of aggravation gone in a week. OMG I am so happy!!!So here's the scoop. This does burn a little, it stings and the area is sore a few days. Scabs form and they sometimes come off and bleed a little. The sensation feels like a small cut basically. I use numbing lotion after and I don't even notice it (definitely use it). To have these ugly tags and bumps gone is WORTH any pain but it's barely noticeable honestly. Best of all this has 9 settings from barely a tingle to zap. I can tolerate #7 but it's getting pretty stingy at that level. Worth the money hands down!

    I’m stoked! This little tool is so much cheaper than a dermatology appointment, of which I’ve had many! I have tons of dark freckles on my arms and legs and the moment I received it I charged it then started tackling some of these freckles and moles. It was addicting! I shocked about 12 of them and it hurt but they just melted off. Next day my arm was a mess. Lots of bleeding. I was worried I had messed it up. I wore a sleeve all week to cover the horror. But 10 days later the scabs fell off and now the freckles are GONE. Moles will require 2-4 treatments probably. If you have tons of stuff to get rid of I recommend you do so in winter so you can keep covered and not look like a leprosy victim. But also you don’t want to get sun on the new skin. It does make your room smell like burning skin. Ew!

    Use this to take care of sebaceous hyperplasia. Generally small bumps that were diagnosed by a dermatologist, but ridiculously overpriced to remove. I researched them myself, and watched a number of dermatology procedures and with this tool it was quite easy to handle. It does give quite a nip above level 5 if your sensitive to pain, but after a few zaps you get over it. I suggest you use on a just a few bumps or marks at a time, at night or before the weekend, as it does cause redness and a noticable scab. Two to three passes at Lvl 5, for 5 to 7 seconds each should be enough to handle most hyperplasias, and acne marks as they're less than 1mm deep.

    This is one product that has benefited me the most. I am in awe of this great product. I used it to get rid of my skin tags and it burnt them off like a breeze. The first time is when we face the pain or stinging but the next one onwards it’s easy to use your senses kinda get used to it.     This interesting tool is like a refined wood burning tool. The kind you use to burn letters on signs. I never dreamed that I would be able to buy something intentionally made to burn my skin. Wow!It took me awhile to figure out how to put it together, but once I got it everything clicked. As I put it together I still didn't realize that I would be burning my skin with a red hot needle. OUCH!The thing is, it does work on skin tags and fatty moles. Unfortunately, it does't seem to work on the flat rough skin patches that I earned sitting in the sun by the pool for many years. For every treated area you will the spot will turn into small burn marks (that's what I call it). Though eventually it will fall off. I wish I would have taken a before and after pic.     I HAD (keyword) 2 raised skin colored moles on my face. About 3/16 inch wide each. I was able to get rid of both of them. Currently they're red since the scab just dropped off, but the spots are FLAT now. A dot of yellow concealer followed with makeup and they're hardly visible. It's much easier to cover a flat spot than a raised one. I've never been able to conceal them. This was worth every penny. Easy to use. The "zap" is a little cringe worthy but the result is worth it.

The hard part is the smell of burning flesh, near my eye, made it water. But I closed my eye and used my other eye to watch what I was doing. I missed one part of the tag and zapped my eyelid not the tag and it started to bleed a little. I was able to dry cauterize it. My eye swelled up the next day, but it went down. You can get an antibiotic if it gets infected.I've since burned off tiny moles on my face and on my legs. Moles take longer to scab and heal than skin tags but it worked. I have a larger mole on my leg and it's too big to burn it off in one passing. It kept dripping fluid with each pass. So I am burning the outer edges...More

I missed one part of the tag and zapped my eyelid not the tag and it started to bleed a little. I was able to dry cauterize it. My eye swelled up the next day, but it went down. You can get an antibiotic if it gets infected.I've since burned off tiny moles on my face and on my legs. Moles take longer to scab and heal than skin tags but it worked. I have a larger mole on my leg and it's too big to burn it off in one passing. It kept dripping fluid with each pass. So I am burning the outer edges of the model and letting that scab over and heal and then I do another pass on the edge so that I can burn it off over time.I used bag balm to keep it moist and keep it from scarring. I also used calazime zinc paste to help it heal faster.

    It burns for a bit but it works, that is rad. Dont have to spend hundreds to get rid of mole. Yes it leaves a little scar but if you are patient and do a little at a time it's hardly noticeable.

    This works very well. I used it to remove some freckles. I also have a tattoo that I’ve had professionally removed that is 90% gone. I used this to remove a few small spots of tattoo ink that were left behind from the professional removal. It DOES work to remove tattoo ink, but I am not sure if one could easily remove an entire tattoo this way. It worked well for my purposes. I would recommend doing a test spot first to see how your skin reacts.

    Ok, it's been less than a week but I'm ready to write my review.... I'm that happy. Before doing anything I highly recommend you google videos for these types of pens. They do give you a good idea on how to use & what to expect. Also, if you're sensitive to pain I would not recommend this for you.As soon as the package came I fully charged the pen. I have plenty skin tags around my eyes, yes eye lids too, that bug me while I'm doing my makeup. I used the 2and level & the thin needles. I didnt inject the needle, just placed the tip as close to the base as I can & push the button. My natural reaction is to jerk because you are electrocuting the tag so I cannot hold it down for long.The tags burned up & left a char, like a scab.After about a day, all the small ones healed completely & the larger ones are almost invisible. I might need to do once more to the bigger ones where I didnt get quite to the base but I'm so pleased. It did hurt & you can smell the burn but it was not bad at all.
