It doesn’t feel like it’s built very solid, however it can take a beating. I’ve been surprised with it. Makes for a fantastic rainy day activity that isn’t yet another screen to melt your kids brain. It keeps them actively running around, moves super quick across the floor, and is a little larger than I thought it would be for the price. Overall it’s a great gift for those soccer fans out there ages 3 - 103. No brainer for a holiday present.

( you know how things usually have a bit of charge in them straight out of box ) We both thought it was petty cool, the rubber bumpers a definite score… the fact that it’s rechargeable was one of the main reasons I chose this one. I think he’s gonna love it - I did an hours worth of reading reviews and checking multiple platforms, this was also what kept leading me back to this one. Lights , size and colors were all dead on … we will have to wait and see if it’s durable and holds up with average use. Looks like it’s well made . Happy with my choice. ;)

    UPDATE: My kid had taped a sticker to the top where the fan is so there was no air circulation, hence it stopped moving as it should have. Now that i removed it, works perfectly! Original review: Stopped working after a week. Was great while it lasted. Just makes a loud buzz noise but doesn’t hover anymore.

Technically, the age range says up to 12, but of course, the 14-year-old couldn’t resist joining in. That might’ve been where things went sideways .... literally. The hover ball was colorful, fun, and glided smoothly across the floor, just like advertised. The LED lights added an exciting touch, especially in dim lighting. However, durability was an issue. It lasted about a day before it gave in to the chaos, with the likely culprit being the 12-year-old (though no one's confessing). It also left a couple of dings in the living room walls, proving that the “harmless to furniture” claim has its limits when energetic kids are involved. In fairness, it probably holds up better with younger kids or in a more controlled environment. For gentle indoor play, it’s entertaining, but if you’ve got a crew that plays hard, this might not survive the fun. I'd give it good value for the money if...More

In fairness, it probably holds up better with younger kids or in a more controlled environment. For gentle indoor play, it’s entertaining, but if you’ve got a crew that plays hard, this might not survive the fun. I'd give it good value for the money if it is used responsibly.

    I was pumped to grab this for my daughter for Christmas this year. We had this 'hover puck' that we'd play in-line hockey within the neighborhood. Back in the 90s, it was so cool! Now it has lights and lasts more than 10 minutes so it's even better. We have a small indoor soccer net so we put this to use playing a little half-court air-hockey soccer. Tons of fun, child-safe huge bumpers and concealed fans. A fun way to spend 20 bucks! Lasts for hours on AA. If it were only rechargeable it would be 5 stars.

Decided to do the replacement and it has worked great ever since. My kids have loved playing with it again. Stopped hovering after 1 day.     If you’re looking to enjoy yourself and briefly exert energy, this is a great toy!! The fun quickly tapers off as you notice the ball slowly starting to stall. Within the hour, 1 ball had already turned into a nightlight, as it was only useful to omit light. Perhaps this is why they came in a pair! It was fun while it lasted. Good luck with yours

My daughter was playing this when I was bent down (my hair is very long) and as the soccer ball came flying in my direction it started to suck up my hair. I literally said “welp!     The Hover Soccer Ball works just as advertised and is great fun for the children (ages 4-6yr old) as well as adults. The batteries install quickly and the unit works immediately. The bumpers don't mark the walls. The product is lightweight so the children need to use less force and thoughfulness in how they connect with the ball. Also, the company has been terrific. One of the two units was defective and the company immediately sent a replacement.

It has a couple of chips in the paint and foam bumper but otherwise still works great. It hasn't left any dings or scuffs on furniture or baseboards. Super fun for kids and adults and helpful with working on skill. BTW, I had wondered how this thing works. Think air hockey! Same idea. Works best on laminate flooring.

    Wow this is super fun! I only wish it was rechargeable!!! It does eat through batteries pretty quickly, so have lots on hand. The other downside is that it only works on hard surfaces, hardwood floors or basement floor, it will not work on carpeting. It doesn't damage furniture as it's very lightweight and travels easily. This is that perfect little 'friends party birthday gift' when you don't know what to buy.

    My 3 year old grandson loves this toy. He's always been fascinated with Roombas and this hover toy is similar but with the added bonus of blinking LED lights. It can be pushed, kicked or left to run on its own like a Roomba. It has a foam rim that won't harm anything it hits. It comes with 4 AA batteries but they didn't last very long. After a short time, the lights would still work but it would no longer move by itself. A fresh set of batteries fixed that. Not sure yet how long those will last but I suspect this is a battery eater so I'll be using rechargeable batteries. Battery replacement takes longer than most because you need to remove 4 screws instead of the usual one.

    In our house we all have a love for soccer, our 2 year old son is no different! He was so excited when he opened it and right away he put it in play. The cushion that covers the ball is soft, it has hit a couple pieces of furniture and there are signs of NO DAMAGE! With the air keeping the ball a hover, makes it easy to kick/push around. The lights are an awesome touch, makes it better to play at night. The only downside is the air/fan inside the ball, its a bit loud. BUT we don't really hear it, we're too busy getting into the game! IF your kids love soccer, this is a MUST!

They eat up batteries really fast and the effectiveness of the hovering doesn't really work when the batteries are low which basically means you're going through batteries even faster. That being said...it's worth every penny. This thing is so fun. The kids will play with it for an hour straight sometimes.

    The soccer ball was a gift for my 5 year old great grandson and he loved it. He had everyone chasing after the disk. The best part it an be an inside or outside toy. The side are covered with a type of rubber than prevents any damage to the furniture or walls it should hit. This soccer ball can be enjoyed by anyone, age doesn't matter

    I'm so happy with this dual sided game to keep the kids occupied while indoors with some active fun. Even gma approves! I knew 500+ other reviews was a good sign. This is so fun and it came in a MUCH smaller box than I imagined. Setup wasn't that hard and we got everything setup in due order. I love that the beanbags have cute dino prints on them! So much fun for the whole family to play and compete after opening presents. The soccer goal was quite fun as well! I really am so thrilled this brought so much fun and competition out of everyone! I am waiting for my friends to come over so we can have an adult match hahah! I read the battery life is very poor and we plan to play often so I may spring for some rechargeable batteries.

    We have had this toy for almost a month and so far we like it. My two year old was scared of the soccer ball at first and I think his dad enjoyed it more than him. It's really cool watching it move when it's turned on. We have not put batteries in the goal but maybe when he's older. He likes putting toys and food (sigh) in the holes meant for the bean bags. So far the netting is holding up. I do think the bean bags are pretty cheaply made though... We played with them initially but I got nervous they were going to rip because the "fabric" is very thin. For that reason I only put four stars. It's still a great toy though!

    We have short carpet in our sunroom and this doesnt work well on that, but on the hard wood floors or tile floors it works great! The kids call it the soccer vacuum lol. Well I understand why but it would be great if it would actually vacuum while they play with it. My older kids like to even play with this with their younger sister. Its fun and keeps them moving in the cold months while they have to stay indoors. Very happy with the purchase and glad it came with two. Kept one for myself and gave the other to a family members kids.

    This is nice but it requires soooo many batteries. You can use it without them but if you want the the full effect you need like 9 aaa batteries. It came a little different from what I expected so just read the description to make sure this is what you’re looking for. Other than that structure wise and design wise, it looks awesome and it’s pretty sturdy.

It isn't super sturdy, but it should last a while if taken care of. The bean bag toss side comes with 8 bean bags in two different colors. The balls or disks are not that substantial and eoykd easily be shattered if hurled up against a hard surface.     The kids were coming over for a swim and it was going to rain. I found this on and it was here in two days. We had a lot of fun kicking this around on the wood and tile floors and the dog chased it for hours! Lights up, noisy, barking dog, laughing kids, perfect afternoon for this grandma! We did find some but don't think they are fully charged because the soccer thing didn't glide like an air hockey thing would glide. Any way it feels kinda cheap but we used it and banged it up a few times and it didn't break so I say its good and fun to play with 👍

    Bought these for my 10yo and 2yo granddaughter to enjoy. The both absolutely love them, as do us adults. The batteries do burn out fast, we have had them for about a week now and have already changed the batteries in one 3 times and the other twice, and they both need new batteries now. We live in the PNW where is rains about 360 days of the year, and these are a great way to keep the kids busy indoors. I should also add durability is not bad, we have had full blow soccer matches including 3 kids and 3 adults kicking one of these thing around our house several times, and they are both still running like champs, especially when we change the batteries. My only complaint is the battery life sucks, otherwise 5 stars.

    I found this to perform exactly as described on the website which makes it a fun little toy. There is no advertising that it works on carpet - and it does not. Our floors are vinyl plank and they have a slight texture to help them have that wood like look. It floats and glides as advertised. The soft bumpers around the outside seem just right to protect furniture but have some firmness to allow for passing. Also pleased to report that you can hear the fan going to float it, but it isn't annoying or loud (quieter than 100% of my vacuums). The kids love it. Seems like a great gift for soccer players.

    I do like this unit charges via a regular phone type usb charger and that they provide a cable for charging. The "soccer disc" is smaller than expected, perhaps 6" in diameter. I've had other "hover" type toys that are more responsive to touch and motion; but this does work fairly well on hard surfaces. It's useless on carpeting (not to be unexpected) and our grandson hasn't tried it on a driveway yet. For its price point ... and that most kids trash toys within hours ... this is a good value and you won't weep when your kid finds a way to break it.

    Just put new vinyl plank flooring throughout my entire house, which makes playing with this a blast! Got it for my daughter who is 14, and as soon as my son (who's in college) saw it, he wanted one too! The foam bumper surrounding it keeps anything like walls or furniture from getting scratches scuffed or dented. Just kick it around and have fun. When not interacting with it, it will wonder around aimlessly sort of like one of those robotic vacuums. Very cool, highly recommend!

    This is really fun and cool to play with. Its hard not to get carried away some times and kick it hard! My son and I love playing in the hallway on my tiled floors. It glides smoothly kinda like air puck. Its light weight and keeps a good charge. Its a lightweight and quiet toy that lights up so we can play in the dark. I have not tried it outside. Awesome gift 🎁 for my 7 year old annnnnddd its affordable 😀

    I was skeptic about this product because it was inexpensive and very light. But it is so cool! Works on hard floors only (not carpet) and is basically an air hockey puck in the floor. My kids love it!

    Great toy for the price. My kids 3-5 yo have a blast with them. They love to turn the lights off at night and play with them in the dark - soccer game plus light show! Hovers enough to not scratch your floors and bumpers save your walls/base boards. Definitely recommend!

    I’m so glad I came across the Air Hover Ball! Even an adult will get entertained day and night with the LEDs at night is a pretty cool effect. I bought this for my neighbor’s son, he couldn’t wait to get it out of the box, it needs 4 AA batteries. Within 5 min we were kicking it around the living room without having to worried so much that will scratch something, the padding around the hover ball is another great idea! I wish I had one of these when I was little and practically playing soccer everyday until we couldn’t see the soccer ball at night. The Air hover ball with LEDs, great simple concept

    I'll admit, I didn't expect much from this. I bought it because my son loves to walk around in his walker and push stuff around. This is pretty great. The little fans keep it just off the ground so it glides around on hardwood floor really smoothly, and the little bumpers around the sides keep it bouncing around. Very cool.

    This was a gift for my 18 month old grand-daughter. She was frightened as it looked like the roomba that she is scared of but my son in laws LOVED playing with it this Christmas! She will come around. It is so much like air hockey, awesome toy! Oh though, the dogs go after it too, I'd be careful since the foam outer ring would get torn with dog teeth. It is not super soft foam, more firm than you'd think, but no match for a dog.

    This is a great toy. Our Grandson, 5 years old, enjoys soccer and so we thought we would give this a try. It works amazing on hard surfaces and is rechargeable. Highly recommend. He can even play "soccer" in the garage this winter. A great way for them to burn up some energy and get some coordination practice as well. An excellent value!

(Yeah, I played with it a little before re-boxing.) Buyer note: It charges via a usb cord, not battery-powered & doesn't plug directly into a wall socket.

    My boys 7 and 11 have been using this hover soccer ball non stop since we got it three days ago. It has been a game changer because a regular soccer ball in the house has caused alot of problems. My kids eat, sleep, and breathe soccer and this ball will make parents very happy as it is lightweight and hovers slightly above the ground and makes no marks on the walls even when kicked pretty hard. Hours of entertainment before it needs to be charged. Great product, great price.

    Having a couple of kid athletes in the house is hard so this air soccer disk helps relieve the stress of having a ball rolling around. Works on hardwood or laminated floors perfectly and even I kick it around a couple times. They used to chasing around outside on the road which is unsafe sometimes. Now they love to play this ball inside the house day and night since it is a LED ball. The sides are soft so it wont hurt their feet and anything in the house.

    Wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this, but it was definitely a winner for us in my house! It was like soccer air hockey. Great thing is.....we hit this thing pretty hard once or twice & it didn’t leave any marks on our walls.
