   I have always taken my knives & scissors semiannually for sharpening but unfortunately, they get dull in between visits. I ordered this electric knife sharpener & it works perfectly! I have been able to sharpen all of my knives, including my serrated steak knives. The sharpener has 3 speeds for different types of knives. It's very easy to use & it has an edge polisher that makes my blades cut through meat like it's butter. This thing will also sharpen scissors & the angle can be adjusted so my husband can sharpener his axes! I'm very pleased with this product. I feel it's a good value for the price especially since I can sharpen my knives any time it's needed. I would recommend this product to others.

   Very conenient to sharpen the knives. My kitchen knivies are dull and I have never sharpen them util I got this unit. It is electric which means I don't need to put a lot of efforts other than just put the knif through the slots. There are three pairs of slots and each corresponds to different functions. The first pair of slots is for the dull knives. The second one is for fine knives. The third is used to polish the blades from the first two slots. I tried it with my kitchen knives and it works perfectly. I also tried to sharpen my kitchen scissors and it works as well. This is the device I won't use it every day or every week, so I have to find a place to store it after I use it. I may need to use it in a few weeks until I need a sharper knif. Overall, this devices works as intended and did really good job to make my knives sharp again.

   I have a bad habit of not sharpening my knives until it becomes necessary, even though I know better and prefer sharp knives. I say to myself "I'm in a hurry and I'll do it next time" too many times and my blades are not kept in the best condition. I haven't tried an electric knife sharpener before this one, and I wanted something quick and easy to use for my two sets of kitchen knives. This sharpener is easy to use overall and gives my knives a smoother, sharper edge, but it has couple of small quirks. As mentioned by another reviewer, the second stage slot on the left is a little weird and makes a loud grinding noise. So far I haven't seen that it's not performing at it should, but the louder, more grating sound compared to all of the their slots is somewhat concerning. This seems to just be a matter of becoming accustomed to using the machine rather than manual sharpeners and I'm not too concerned about it. This sharpener does perform well to smooth out the edges of my knives and scissors to resharpen them. I'm able to cut produce and meats much more effectively after running them through this machine. This sharpener works more quickly than manual sharpeners and gives better results. This sharpener comes with clear instructions for use, its easy to operate, and it's easy to clean out the filings from the trap underneath. This sharpener seems fairly durable overall, it reminds me of vintage electric pencil sharpeners in design, looks, and its heavy weight. Overall I'm pretty happy with this sharpener and its performance.

   I finally got to try out my new SurudoiSharp 5-in-1 Electric Knife Sharpener today, and I’m genuinely impressed. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the unit itself is compact and attractive on the counter. So far, I’ve only sharpened a couple of kitchen knives, but it handled them smoothly and efficiently. I’m excited that it’s designed to work with scissors, garden shears, and even small axes—tools I plan to try later. I’ve always relied on my husband to sharpen our knives, but now I can do it myself with confidence. One thoughtful feature is the magnet on the bottom that collects metal shavings. It’s removable for cleaning, and sure enough, when I checked, there were the shavings. I used a paper towel to clean them off, but the magnet held on tight—next time I might try a small, stiff brush to make the job easier. Overall, I’m very pleased with this sharpener.    I'll start off by saying I own a few different knife sharpeners from $5 up to $100, and this one has gotta be Top 2 for me! The $100 sharpener I have is the best but is all manual so takes a long time to get that razers edge. What I love about this one are the Diamond Wheels and not the traditional grinder sanding wheels. It has many many features and a cleaning notification. A trap door underneath where a magnet collects the shavings for easy cleaning which is a feature I love the most. Because of the diamond wheel I was able to sharpen a Benchmade Knife made from D2 Steel. Normally D2 is too hard for traditional sharpeners and ends up either dulling the blade or ruining the sharpener. This did a great job at just 5 passes on each side in all 3 steps. Kitchen knives are a breeze with this thing and scissors are welcome too! You can even sharpen Ceramic knives on the lowest setting without worry of chipping.    This is an easy to use sharpener that worked well with one of my cheap everyday knives that I initially tested with. You can see my video that I show cutting a celery with, before and after sharpening the knife. I can tell from the pressure that I applied that the knife's sharpness definitely increased after using this sharpener. It's well built with good amount of weight that holds the device down while you are using it. It's a bit on the expensive side, so I would consider buying it if you think you'll be using it frequently. Occasional users may want to opt for a less expensive solution.

   Commenters who complain that the grinding wheel stalls are using underpowered adapters. The manufacturer recommends at least a 2-ampere adapter. Even 1 ampere is enough if you don't have a more powerful one. It sharpens ordinary knives quickly and well. The slot at the end is for honing away the roughness left by the grinding. The honing material is harder than steel: it looks like ceramic. 5 stars because it's excellent for the price.

   So, this did help to sharpen my knives. I have solid stainless steel knives, so I used the medium speed. It worked pretty well. Its a little hard to get the perfect pressure on it. If I pressed down too hard, it didn't sharpen well. If I didn't press down enough then it missed spots. But once you get going, its great. It worked very well and it was pretty quick. No oil or anything involved. The instructions were good and made it easier to use.

   I am impressed with this sharpener. It requires no skill. There is a three step process beginning with a coarse grind, fine grind, and finally a ceramic dresser. The motor can stall if you push it too hard, but it has sufficient power to get the job done. My testing was sharpening knives that were either dull or previously sharpened with a carbide sharpener. Due to the condition of the knives I had to run the knives through the coarse sharpener several times to correct the angle. Step 2 was done in 2-3 passes. Same with dressing the edges with the ceramic rod. At this point the knives were quite sharp and able to easily slice paper. Once the knife is properly sharpened, it should only require a pass or two to resharpen the edge after use.

   I purchased this to use with my older knives that have a 22° angle. I have a knife sharpener for my newer knives that have 15° angles but did not want to change the angle of the older knives. This knife sharpener is easy to use. It has 3 speeds: low for ceramic blades and medium or high for steel blades. Although it's easy to detect the speed based on the sounds, the speeds are shown on the LCD screen. It's as noisy (or quiet) as my other knife sharpener. I first tested it with a chef's knife (using medium speed) and it worked great. It has a ceramic polishing rod that can sharpen serrated knives. I tested it with a cheap serrated knife my spouse insists on using and it does seem sharper. The SurudoiSharp Light Blonde 5 in 1 electric knife sharpener can also sharpen scissors and cutting tools with 32.5 angles. I didn't try those features because I don't have knives with larger angles and my scissors are new.

   I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time now and I’m glad I found this one! You literally do nothing and this does everything! It’s easy to use, it sharpens your knives in no time, and best is your knives are like new after the first time you put them in. This machine is fast, takes no space in your kitchen because is kind of small but fierce. I’m in love! Just turn it on, set your needs by pressing the power button to the speed you want and let it do its magic!

I’ve been guilty of letting my daily use knives languish, buffing them up with a honing steel occasionally - but noticing visible divots along the edges. This sharpener puts a nice edge back on them, and the third slot hones/polishes the edge to a nice smooth sharp finish. The sharpener is easy to use, though I did spend some time reading the directions carefully, and tried a lesser used knife first.    Works reall well, Sharpen from Coarse to Fine. If you blade is rough, then you start on the coarse and finish it on the Fine. It is loud when sharping. Its well made. The speed is smooth and ateady. Its super easy to use as you pull it towards you in 1 direction. Its a good value.

   I never realized how dull my blades had gotten until I used this SurudoiSharp 5-in-1 sharpener—and now I can’t imagine cooking without it. The three speed settings let me customize the grind: I use medium speed for my everyday chef’s knife and high speed for resurrecting old parers. The LCD screen clearly shows me which stage I’m on—coarse, fine, or polishing—so there’s zero guesswork. I’ve sharpened straight-edge knives to paper-thin precision, restored serrated bread knives with the side slot, and even revived my ceramic paring knife without chipping it.    Excellent value for a well made and versatile electric knife sharpener that works great! The easy to use sharpener can be used with a wide variety of knives and cleavers. I only advise you to use these on knives that are $100 or less (basic everyday knives) and if you have fancy knives, use a whetstone or ceramic rod(s) as these electric sharpers are very aggressive in removing metal. So while easy to use, it might be too easy, and one might overuse it. If you overuse it, you will see the blade getting ground down, and start to look funny. These electric knife sharpers work great, don't be fooled by those who look down on these. The biggest downside is the aggressive grinding/removal of metal, and damages your knife.    This is the best home sharpener I've ever had, and I've tried quite a few. It took only 4-5 passes in each slot to sharpen my seriously dull knives safely. It's easy to use, works for all sizes of knives, remains steady on the counter during sharpening, and is easy to store --no mess; no fuss. Definitely recommended!

   I tried this out on one of my kitchen knives and wow, it sure does the job! I like that it has the 3 stages so you can get a nice, smooth edge, and I like that it's a diamond wheel and not just sandpaper like other cheaper sharpeners. Wish I could use it on my lawn mower blade! Well worth the money, easy to use.

   I finally decided to replace my old knife sharpener and replace it with an electric Knife sharpener. Wow! I am so glad I finally broke down and bought an electric knife sharpener. So easy to use and my knives have never been this sharp since I bought them. I use high quality knives and use them on a daily basis so it is very important to me to keep a sharp. I highly recommend the SurudoiSharp Professional 3-stage Electric Knife Sharpener to use at home and/or professionally!

   I read the reviews on this site. I’m glad I decided to try it. It put razor sharp edges on all my knives. Key is to let the machine do the work. Absolutely no need to put any real pressure on the knife. The guide is made to hold the knife to the perfect angle. If you push the blade down it causes the knife to move away from the guide. Also by pressing the blade down you will get uneven edges because the sharpening wheel will slow down and cause the edge to dip Jut lightly guide and pull the knife back slowly. Start off by not starting with an expensive knife but with a Chinese blade from a box store.

   hadn't used an electric sharpener before; this made it easy. worked well for our kitchen knives; few passes on the coarse side and few on the fine side. had to read through the manual to figure out how to use initially. Knives came out sharp for daily use. It's bulkier than the non-electric ones and will need you to hold onto the side to keep it from moving. Had a section at the bottom where the filings collect, have to be carefully dispose that every now and the . Decent price, am happy with the product.

   This sharpener put a good edge back on my top quality but old kitchen knifes. The manual style sharpeners recommended by the manufacturers would never put this sharp an edge on them. I have a high quality Japanese chopping knife and the sharpener put a razor edge back on it. I consider it a good appliance for the money.

   Honestly, when I first used it I thought it wasn't so great, the knife I was sharpening wasn't much better than before. Then I thought, maybe it needs to be done again. After all I hadn't had it sharpened, ever, and it wasn't a new knife. So I tried again. It worked. and it's much sharper now and I can cut tomatoes without squishing the heck out of it and it's really easy to use. Quality seems to be there and it works well. I would buy it again.

   I love this knife sharpener! It is a reasonable price and is a great machine to make my cooking easier. It is easy to use and I finally have sharp knives. It even sharpens my kitchen shears. It doesn’t take up much space and I feel safe with the sharpening process. It works in no time and cutting is a breeze

   All my knifes had aged and simple sharpening no longer got the knifes sharp. Spent a few minutes putting them all through this machine and problem solved. The knifes are sharp. As someone who has spent far too much time sharpening woodworking tools, I can say they are not the sharpest they could be, but for a kitchen they cut the food quickly and effortlessly. Minor cons. The angle is a set 20 degrees. My Japanese knifes are meant to be 16-18. So not optimum, but the ease of use beats the minor loss in performance. Also, if you knifes are not currently 20 degrees the first time you sharpen you have to spend more time to get them sharp and grind down to the new angle The sharpener is moderate size. I have limited storage space in the kitchen so that is not ideal for me. But many other electric sharpeners are bigger. Most of the time I just resharpen by straightening the edge. I will just use this machine when the get bad and light hand sharpening does not work.

   Keeping knives and scissors sharp is a time consuming chore that most of us like to avoid. But, it has to be done if we're going to get the best utility out of our kitchen/shop knives/scissors. Most people don't know that it's important to maintain knife bevel angles when sharpening. This electric sharpener does that automatically and it's easy to use, too. With three motor speeds it works well for all blade types. And it's got a dedicated scissors sharpening slot dedicated to that task. Having sharp scissors is a really good thing and lends even greater value to this sharpener.

   I used it to sharp all my knives. It worked on all of them. If I had it earlier, I wouldn’t throw away any knife. Once you use it, knife becomes almost new. I tested my knife by trying to cut a piece a paper. It worked after sharpening.

   I tried to cut an onion with one of my knives and it wouldn’t slice. Less than a minute sharpening it with this tool, not only could I cut my veggies with ease, I barely touched the blade and I cut myself twice! Two days later and it still hurts. Needless to say, I’m sharpening all my knives with this thing!

   whew! Heavy, well made, electric knife/scissor sharpener. It apparently does EVERYTHING. Well, it certainly does what it's for! Course/fine/polish knives, including serrated knives. I have been buying cheap knives and tossing them in the trash, 'cause I never could figure out how to use a sharpening stone. This unit certainly solved that problem for me! I played with it for hours, sharpening EVERYTHING. Big knives, little knives, 'skissors', it did them all, and did them well. It's super nice to have three different slots to just run them through to the finest edge. Scissors (skissors) too. It's quite heavy, I didn't have to worry about it sliding around, or falling off the edge of the table either. Nice.    This is the sharpener of all sharpeners. I mean, this fits about every knife we have. It is extremely durable, leaves an edge better than a professional at the mall and we could not be happier. No more grindstones and odd angels depending on the knife. A very nice product, effective. I am happy we decided to order this. I give 5 stars, hands down, a must have!

   I was able to sharpen all of my knives, sharper than ever! I have the stone, i have the manual sharpener. Nothing comes close to what this electric one can do! The directions gives you super helpful information on what setting goes for what, and once you turn it on, you just swipe! Easy as pie! My favorite knife is no longer dull, and hard to work with. I highly reccomend!

   Works very well and easy to use. The sharpening apparatuses are abrasive disks rather than any kind of “stone.” The disks are somewhat thin and don’t seem like they will last a long time, but we’ll only know with prolonged use. Features include slots for sharpening finer blades, thicker blades, scissors, and a polishing disk. The device is nice looking and it’s compact, so it will be easy to put away until I need to sharpen knives or scissors again.

   This sharpener works wonders on all my knifes! It has a tight fit for the knife so the blade glides perfectly so it eliminates uneven sharpening. The 3 stages of the sharpener makes it easy to get an easy cut. I tested my knifes before and after using a piece of paper and it cut through like butter! I am extremely happy with my purchase and there is a magnetic tray at the bottom that makes cleanup even easier!

   This is my 2nd one. Lost my 1st in a divorce. I love the ease of use. Be careful because it gets a knife scary scharp. Cool design. OMG!!!!!! DAYUM.....I Ordered this product at 10:10am and it was delivered by 3pm the same day!!! The same day!!! I'm totally blown away. I live in Brandon, Ms. so not so much a majorly known city.

   This sharpener is very good. Super easy to sharpen my kitchen knives. I have previously been using a manual wet stone set and got pretty good results but I could never get my knives anywhere near sharp like from the factory. I saw this sharpener and figured it was worth a try. It is super easy to use and after 5 or six minutes I had a razor sharp chef’s knife in my hand! Anyone can use this and get great results. No special skill required.

   Simple to use and works surprisingly well. It brought my dull kitchen knives back to life in just a few passes. The instructions were clear, and I liked that it has guides to keep the angle right. It feels sturdy on the counter and doesn’t slide around while in use. Wish I have find it sooner so I don't need to manually sharpen my knife every time I cut things

   This knife sharpener is a game-changer! Easy to use and super effective for both stainless steel and ceramic knives.    I am very satisfied with this knife sharpener. I bought a cheaper one first and it was horrible and dangerous because the housing was so small and the vibration was great and scary. Anyway, I bet the bullet and bought this one and as soon as I got it, I sharpened two sets of knives and was very pleased with the results. My recommendation to people who don’t know how to use them is to not press down so hard, just make more passes until you get the sharpness level you want. The long and short of it is, I’m quite pleased with this item.

   It’s been a little over two weeks and I’ve used this at home and took it to my business to sharpen kitchen knives. First, don’t handle without caution or care! It’s an easy and simple procedure to sharpen blades. I saw one of the video reviews on here and that was one reason I bought it. It sharpenssss lol. Watch the video on how to sharpen your kitchen knives easily and hassle free. Start from the back end of the knife which is closer to your hand and work your way towards the front tip of the blade. You can do it more than once until you get the result youuu are looking for. For our home kitchens, they are slightly less sharp than the business knives, because of the environment, people handling the knives, and for safety. Don’t forget to clean the dust tray beneath but it works great in my opinion and easy to clean.

   I have a cheap set of knives that I bought several years ago that were getting dull my son when he comes home we sharpen them, but it’s been a while Knife sharpener to see if I could get a good edge on them again I started with my smallest knife and sharpened it and it could slice right through tomatoes like butter highly recommend getting this for your own home just be aware it does have a larger footprint so if you wanted to leave it out on the counter, it’s gonna take up some room

   Overall, a good value The motor is a little weak when you push down hard it slows down and sometimes stops, but then you don’t need to push that hard really it does put a nice edge on all my tools

   Just what I needed - an electric knife sharpener. Even though my grandfather was a butcher, and could hone a knife like no other (and taught my grandmother as well), I did not inherit those skills from my mom. My dad was very good at it, as are my sons. Me? Not so much. So this little sharpener has made me smile; I can sharpen my knives with a pretty good edge with this electric sharpener. I like that it suctions to the counter.

   I haven't really been a fanatic about sharpening since whittling club in junior high, but I do appreciate a sharp knife. This unit does a great job on kitchen, hunting and general utility knives. You may not catch the very end of the edge near the handle on some knives, but you probably won't use that part anyway. The unit itself is compact, well designed and attractive. I suppose if you are a true fanatic you could do a final tweak with oil and a superfine whetstone, but that's over the top for 99.9% of users. Overall, a handy tool for the kitchen.

   It’s fairly simple to use, and you don’t have to sharpen it for that long. My knife had a little chip in it, after sharpening, it’s hardly noticeable. The knife definitely is sharper after use.

   Stepped up to this model because of the polishing wheel. It sharpens better and faster than my old grinding wheel sharpener. I call tell my knives are sharper and the polishing feature lets me keep them in top shape without grinding the blades down.

   You'll receive a solid machine with a couple of options to get your old knives back to work. Maintaining the perfect angle is the key for sharpness. With this machine it is easy to keep the angle consistent. This machine works well with typical western knives. It provides a average cutting angle and you can pull out guards for even wider angle used with cleavers. This machine will not work for some Japanese blades that require even less angle. The machine is easy to use and creates a good results even on old and dull knives. So if you don't want to deal with wet stones, this is a great addition to your kitchen.

   Pretty solid sharpener. Took a couple of test runs to get the hang of it but once I did it brought my knives back to life. The three stages actually make a difference especially if the blade is really dull. Feels sturdy and not cheap, a little bigger in size than I expected. It’s not the quietest thing but it does the job fast and the little magnetic tray helps with cleanup. Worth it if you’re tired of dull knives and want a shop quality at home

   What a cool thing this is, the end of blunt knives has finally come, in the video I showed how simple and easy this machine is to sharpen a knife, which is amazing, I am very happy with the purchase and recommend having such a thing in the house

   This sharpener features a 360 grit and a 600 grit sharpening wheel. This is an electric sharpening tool for basic sharpening. 600 grit is not going to shave your back hair as smooth as a baby bottom, but it will touch up kitchen knives for continued use. Would I use this on a custom made Damascus Chef Knife? No, but that is not the market for this sharpener. This sharpener is for a speedy quick tune of that kitchen knife that is in the old butcher block knife holder or sits in the kitchen drawer. You want to take it out, zip a through this sharpener to make sure your tomatoes cut and dont smash. Its size is small enough to fit in that drawer and smooth enough to get a good enough angle on your workhorse kitchen knife. Check the price and purchase as you would another electric knife sharpener.

   This knife sharpener seems well made, durable. It’s got a nice little weight to it. I love how easy it is to use and it gets the job done. My knives come out pretty sharp. I do feel that hand sharpening with a wet stone or rod gets my knives sharper but the convenience is unbeatable. The design to hold the knife at the right angle works well. It’s almost foolproof.

   I absolutely love this thing. I previously purchased a knife sharpener on that was probably 50% more expensive, but I could not use it indoors due to the metal particles getting everywhere. This thing is SUPER easy to use, just make sure you read the instructions and follow them, especially if the knife is dull. It brought all my longer knives back to life and sharpened them very well. The suctions cups are great for keeping it in place, and it works very well. I did not have the greatest success with paring knives, but it even tells you in the instructions this might be the case. It's easy to get out and put away, and best of all, no metal particles all over the place.

   J'ai dû acheter au moins 10 aiguiseurs manuels et j'ai toujours été déçu (peut être que je n'ai pas su m'en servir mais bon...). J'ai longtemps hésité à m'acheter ce type d'appareil à cause du prix mais finalement je ne le regrette pas, c'est parfait pour moi. Tous mes couteaux sont bien tranchants maintenant.    I’m really excited about this sharpener. I have several knives that I’ve used for over a decade and still love, even though they’re not high-end. They’ve become dull over time, but I just couldn’t find the right replacements. I’ve tried sharpening stones in the past, but unfortunately, I ended up giving my knives crooked or tilted edges—almost felt like I ruined them. This sharpener doesn’t create the razor-sharp edge that a stone does, but it also avoids the uneven edges. For someone like me, with questionable hand-eye coordination, this feels like the perfect fit.

   Very impressed and works extremely well. Make sure to read the instructions/ booklet to get its best use. 1) it has angled grooves to get both sides of the blade. You can remove some of the grooves for thicker blades and on side you can sharpen scissors, love it! 2) 3 levels for different types of materials for the best sharpening 3) comes with a polishing rod 4) it’s quick and easy to use 5) it’s easy to clean after a few uses as needed. Great for a gift or for yourself!

   I typically judge a sharpener on how well it can take a butter knife from the dull safe "knife" we all know to a hair popping razor and how long it takes. My wife graciously has dealt with me for many years so when she walks into me sharping a butter knife to the point of being a surgical instrument we just call that "Tuesday". This sharpener passed the test without any issue at all. The guided slots work well to keep the angle of the grind nice and parallel to one another. With the butter knife it took a few minutes to polish though the texture on the edge of the blade and reprofile the angle. After about 5 minutes the edge was formed, 5 more and the edge was sharp, the last 5 was spent on the fine side honing and it is certainly hair popping sharp.    This is a great sharpener that requires a little learning. To sharpen old dull knives, run it at the highest speed and take your time, sharpening them, going in one direction every time on both sides and you will see a difference as in the video.

   I read many articles which all indicated that an electric sharpener removes human mistakes and labor in knife sharpening. I have sharpening stones and was never fully successful in using them properly. The angle was the biggest problem. I also went through several manual sharpeners, and only the last one which allows setting the angle between 14 to 20 worked sufficiently for me. This electric sharpener is easy to use, the suction cups hold firm to the table, there is almost no noise, and it is marked well to indicate coarse vs fine, and that each one has one side and the other side sharpening channel. My only problem is with the end close to the handle. Almost impossible to get that end of the blade through the sharpener. FYI – for owners of knives with different angles – this one has one set angle only.

   I was pleasantly surprised by how efficient this knife sharpener turned out to be. It arrived right on time and was securely packaged.    I have used it to sharpen several knives across a range of sharpness and dullness. I have a favorite chef's knife that I've used for over 20 years and only sharpened with a stone previously. I was shocked at how quickly this unit put an edge on the blade and how easy it was to use the machine while doing it. I was able to easily slice through a piece of paper like it was a brand-new blade.

   I'm very pleased with both the ease of use and the performance of this sharpener. I wad able to sharpen every knife in the kitchen and greatly improve the performance of all of them. In addition, I was able to also sharpen an old pair of kitchen scissors that I had all but given up on and they work better than ever now.

   I really like how easy it is to use this knife sharpener. Simply plug in, turn in and place knife in slot and slide blade along slot. There is a tray underneath that catches the shavings. It works great.

   Great piece of equipment. I received it this afternoon and sharpened 9 kitchen knives so far. I am extremely pleased. If you are a perfectionist, you might want to run the sharpened knives over a steel a couple of passes to bring the edge up even more. Not necessary though. Five stars!

   I am very impressed with how easy it is to use, and it gets my knives razor sharp. I sharpened every knife in the kitchen, and then I went throughout the house looking for more knives to sharpen. I was always an old school kind of guy using whetstones, which is tedious and inconsistent, and this has makes it much easier.

Lo he usado poco y no ha sido necesario aún cargarlo por primera vez, claro está, es porque lo uso en una casa de vez en cuando, no lo usamos diario ni cada semana. Recomendadísimo

   I already had a really nice knife sharpener that was a similar style to this I use at home but needed one to put at our vacation home we just built and didn't want to spend as much on another one. What a great value this turned out to be since it works just as good as the other one I have. The multiple channels allow you to get that razor sharp bevel on any set of kitchen knives. So sharp you can easily thinly slice tomatoes without squishing them, just like on the infomercials. If this is your first sharpener, know that they are a little noisy, but that's normal. Using consistent passes of the knife, both speed and pressure, produce the best results.

   Very pleased with this product, always a bit wary of knife sharpeners, but my worries were unfounded. It does a very good job with very easy use, please read the instructions before using, and leaves a very good finish on the knives after use. The collection trays are easy to empty and well incorporated in the unit. I found i did not have to use the 3rd slot hand sharpener as the knives were completely honed. Very good tool.

   I am very much an enthusiast when it comes to ceramic kitchen knives. I discovered them on a trip to Japan more than 30 years ago and now have a significant collection from my favorite brand. While ceramic blades hold an edge much longer than steel, they are also harder to sharpen and most sharpeners don't work.    I used this to sharpen five of my favorite knives. I looked at the knives under a magnifying glass to look at the edges and there were several small knicks in the edges and I could see how they weren't as sharp as when new. I then started with the coarse grind and took two passes, left and right, all the way down to the polish grind. The results were great. The knicks were gone and the blades were as sharp as new. It does take a little bit of practice to get the knife to go smoothly through the guides, but it is well worth the results.

   My son sells Damascus knives and sometimes they need to be sharpened a little bit more before he can sell them and so this works great for that so that he can sell knives that are super sharp to his customers. This honesty was very inexpensive and works great for sharpening his knives for his customers. In my opinion if you need to sharpen your knives like he does this is a great quality knife sharpener for you to buy to use. My son loves using this and uses it all the time thank you

   WOW I just received the Sharpener, It was just what I needed and What a great sharpener. I have 8 good good Chef Knifes and even thou I had a sharpener rod. Like all knifes need a good resharpen. Bisogna esercitarsi un po' ad usarlo correttamente, e darsi pazienza all'inizio, perché le lame affilate con sistemi diversi hanno un angolo di filo non compatibile con le molette dell'affilatore, e la prima affilatura di ogni coltello richiede numerosi passaggi per correggere l'angolo di affilatura, asportando il materiale in eccesso ai lati del filo. Fatto questo, i coltelli diventano taglienti tanto da richiedere attenzione nell'usarli, non proprio come veri rasoi, ma quasi. Molto soddisfatto!

   I don't know what all the bad reviews are about. This sharpener has been awesome, does a great job, and so cheap compared to other products. Sharpens my very expensive german knives like a dream. Also had some unexpected cool features, love that it recharges although I still haven't had to recharge it after months of use, and the suction cups on the bottom are genius lol. Important to note that you need to hold the blade against in plastic piece above the wheel as you draw the knife through, but other than that, easy peasy. Would 100% recommend.

   If you have some knives that need sharpening then look no further. This sharpener is awesome. It has 3 grit levels. The first grit will put a totally new edge on the knife with heavy grit. The medium can then be used to further refine the edge and the Polishing with a 1000 grit resin. For daily use you can use the medium and fine but you only want to use the first slot coarse if your knife is completely worn. Super happy with this sharpener. It's like I have a whole set of new knives.

   I had been using a hand sharpener for a while with my nice set of knives, but I was noticing that cutting a tomato was just not very easy anymore. So I got this and glad I did. Takes a few seconds and the knife is razor sharp again. I'm slicing through tomato's with ease now! Just be sure to rinse and wipe off the blade after, as their will be very small metal shavings/dust on it from sharpening.

I don't have knives that needed the rough abrasive, I went with just the middle. I also didn't really feel a need to polish. My knives are in pretty good condition to begin with just needed a little better sharpening. Very happy with this sharpener.

   I love this electric sharpener! It so much more convenient than the manual one, makes the job super easy. I like that it is also covered on both sides with perfect space for knife. It makes the job feel much safer during the process. It is also pretty quiet and doesn’t produce much noise.

   I bought this because I found those long stick shaped sharpeners hard to use and ineffective. I was worried about it damaging my expensive knives or just not working nuts it’s been great to use so far. If you don’t like the sharpener your set comes with or you’re a bit scared, this is a great option.

   I was skeptical at first, but the minute I sharpened my first knife with it. I was very impressed. I have a set of kitchen knives that have been used and abused, and would barely cut anything after I was finished using this sharpener on them I had to warn my family members to be extremely careful with the knives, because they are extremely sharp now this little knife sharpener is a great value. I was able to sharpen knives on one battery charge and it was still going strong. I would recommend this to anyone very satisfied with this little sharpener.

   This 3 stage electric knife sharpener works way better than I was expecting it to, the sharpener has 3 different sharpening stones, a coarse stone for really dull knives, a fine stone for knives that are somewhat dull and a fine stone that helps keep the knives sharp, the sharpener is super easy to use and it's ready to go right out of the box, it's also a lot less noisy than some other sharpeners I have used, but I have to say I was really surprised at sharp it got my knives, I had a few older knives that were pretty much as dull as a butter knife, but after running the blades through the coarse stone about 5 or 6 times on each side of the blade I could see an edge on the blade again, then I ran it through the fine and polish stones and the sharpener just about put a nice razors edge sharpness to the blades, I also have some more expensive knives that I like to keep sharp and the polish stone on this sharpener works great for maintaining the sharpness of my knives, overall I am super ...More

   I have used a number of different knife sharpening tools, including manual and electric tools, and this one works exceptionally well. It has a three-phase process, starting with a coarse grind, then a fine grind, and then finishing with a polish. We used this on our knife set, and it was remarkable to see the difference between the knives before and after sharpening. It is super easy to use, takes up little space, and doesn't scratch up the knives. I definitely recommend this sharpener.

   I spent a little while sharpening all my knives this morning. I can tell you that this is a really heavy duty sharpener, and now my dull knives have been restored to their sharp edges. The sharpener has a coarse slot for dull knives with little sharpness, a fine slot for a quick touch up to knives that still have some sharpness to them, and a polish for cleaning the edges after sharpening. This is a “must have” in my kitchen. It has a stainless exterior that’s easy to wipe down. A big plus for me is that it’s electric, and I don’t have to worry about batteries. I very happily recommend it. Value priced.

   This knife sharpener is very easy to use, looks great, and does a great job at restoring and maintaining knife edges. I sharpened an old pocket knife, and a larger kitchen knife with this sharpener, and in both instances it did a great job. The coarse diamond setting did a great job at removing the uneven edge of my old knife, with the fine diamond setting giving it back a good edge. The polish resin setting also worked very well for honing the edge of my knives, giving them a perfect edge in just a couple passes. Overall, I'm very happy with this sharpener for it's ease of use, and great results. It's perfect for someone who has little to no experience with knife sharpening.

   If you want to quickly get your knives sharpened, this is the right tool for you. Ideally a Whetstone is the best but has a steep learning curve. This will get the work done but I recommend not using it on expensive knives. Use it only for regular knives!
