   I have a kitty boy who cannot resist clawing the side of the couch. This was the 'if you can't beat him, join him' solution. He does use it pretty consistently. Though, it does help that the other cat (his hero) really likes the texture and took to it right away. It's not the most fashionable thing, but it goes on and off easily and stays in place well. I figure that we can just take it off if we have people over. It is much better than a destroyed couch!

   Sooooo much better than those plastic stick on things. My cats were playing with the others they leave the couch alone with these. Now I need them for the front.

   My cat is a notorious couch scratcher, and when I purchased new furniture, I wanted to protect it at all costs. This is the PERFECT product to let her scratch where she wants, but doesn't ruin my furniture. I've had it now for about two months and it still looks barely worn. Like any sisal, it will fray a bit, but it looks great and seems to be pretty sturdy. Highly recommend!

   With a herd of cats in the house (4) it's hard to keep track of them all and catch them in the act when they take a liking to a piece of furniture, carpet or in the case of one cat (looking at you Sheba) wall corners and baseboards.Having this protector in place adds a little peace of mind by removing one temptation from their scratchy reach.The protector was easy to position to cover the entire front edge of our sectional (simply move the top retaining strap forward or backward to adjust length). The velcro straps holding it in place at the bottom (under couch) and the one at the top were all simple to set up. My couch did not have a removable seat cushion but the flap can be discreetly folded into the crevice between cushion and arm rest while still retaining the protector in place.Bonus: the fabric used was almost identical to the one the couch has, and the light gray color is light enough to not overly offset the beige of the couch.

   I. Bought the one for the right side and works so well ordered the one for the left side. Very well made and works wrap around the arm of the sofa not just the side. Pricey but so worth it.

   Works great! Our cat now scratches the Matt instead of the couch! Had to buy for each side though cause she initially just switched to the other side of the couch.

   I have tried everything to get my cat to stop scratching the couch. He does it for attention as he has a great cardboard scratcher for his nails. I've tried the plastic covers and he just ends up chewing on them. I tried sticky tape, likes to chew on it. So I ordered this and it's perfect. My cat loves it and my couch is protected. It matches the color of my couch perfectly.

   I’m actually more impressed with this than expected. My cats don’t really like scratching it but I suppose that’s not the manufacturer’s fault. The thing is actually clever in how it goes together and it’s pretty darn secure for being a universal fit.

   I have one cat and I love this product because it's keeping my couch free from scratches. The only place I've had a little trouble with adhesion is at the bottom but that could be because I didn't unroll the velcro strip all the way. But it still stays in place enough that my cat isn't scratching the couch.

   Great product. So happy with it. My cat uses it multiple times a day. Heavy duty use. My couch would have been destroyed by now, but it remains intact due to this product. Also, Ive noticed that my cat tends to only stick to the scratcher now, and he leaves other areas of my couch alone. So happy with it, ordered another one!

   My cats really love this scratching pad. They started using it immediately. I found the installation a bit tricky to get the pad snug and straight. But once installed, it does a great job of both protecting my couch and making my cats happy.

   Once it is in place it fits snuggly and stay in place. We've had it on for 2 weeks now and the cats use it regularly. It is holding up to their use and they are leaving the rest on the couch alone for the most part. I am glad we tried it and I have already recommended to family members. It, along with a few pieces of cat scratch furniture tape, is really saving our new furniture.
